Is there paperwork to fill out?

For your convenience our paperwork is electronic and will be emailed to you after scheduling your first appointment.

What should I expect from our first meeting?

Whatever your background and no matter why you are hear, you can expect to be treated with compassion and respect. When you arrive, have a seat in our welcome area and your therapist will come out to get you at your appointment time.

Do you accept insurance?

Our therapist are not on any insurance panels. We can offer you a Super Bill. If this is something you are interested in, please talk to your therapist first.

I’m coming for help with my relationship; do you see us together or separate?

Great question. If you’re both committed to therapy, the first session is always together. After that I like to meet with each of you individually at least once. From then on, you can expect all of our sessions to be as a couple. Occasionally, we may need to deviate from that, but we will discuss this first.

How long will this take?

Each session is 50-60 minutes long. The total length of time you are in therapy depends upon the reason you are coming in and your willingness to work during and in between sessions.

On average, I see individuals and couples from 12-20 sessions.

What are your rates?

Session rates are $135 – $175 per session. As of January 1, 2022 you are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate.

How often should we come in?

We can discuss this in person, but the more we can front-load the sessions the more efficient the therapy process tends to be. We work with you to customize a plan that fits your lifestyle.
