Eating Disorder Recovery & Trauma Therapy

Hi I’m Ashton.

Life can be overwhelming, and at times, it can feel impossible to look at yourself with acceptance and confidence. Are you going through a season of life that is difficult and you aren’t sure how to cope with what life is throwing at you? Please know, you are not alone. Making the decision to begin therapy is a courageous step toward living the life you want and deserve. You deserve to feel whole and experience freedom from what you are facing.

The relationships in your life should be a source of healing not of pain and disconnection. Maybe it is the relationship with yourself or perhaps you are experiencing distress with a partner or family member. Whether your relationships or marriage have drifted apart due to the busyness of life, or you are concerned that you are in a destructive relationship, I am here to help you recognize and recover from unhealthy and even toxic relationship patterns. When your relationships involve addiction, emotional abuse, or betrayal trauma, much of the recovery focus can leave you feeling betrayed and left behind. I am a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist trained in EMDR and am here to help you and your relationship recovery from the destructive forces of infidelity and addiction.

In addition to working with betrayal trauma, I help individuals navigate their relationships with themselves, food, and their bodies. I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and have a deep passion for and training in working with teens and adults facing Eating Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, Self-Esteem issues, and Body Dysmorphia.

I know firsthand how difficult this road is, having faced and overcome several of the challenges I now specialize in. I am passionate about helping others as they navigate life’s challenges and learn to love themselves. My goal is to provide a safe and welcoming space for all my clients. Each person is different, and I seek to provide individual care for every person who sits in my office. I am honored to walk with you on your path to freedom and joy. I will help equip you with evidence-based tools, perspectives, and coping skills that can greatly advance your journey back to happiness and self-confidence. Whatever challenge you are navigating, please know, you are not alone. I care, and I’m here to help.

I have a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University and I am under the direction and supervision of Vickie George. My foci are eating disorder recovery & trauma therapy. I would be honored to walk with you on your path to freedom and joy.
